Emmanuel, Keep in mind that trunk is a little quirky right now as we work out issues with new functionality that was recently added.
I recently found a problem in the interaction between sys-readdirplus.sm and sys-readdir.sm, but it doesn't sound like the same problem you are seeing. A memory overwrite occurs when using the "-l" option to ls or pvfs2-ls. The symptom I saw was file sizes being incorrectly reported as 0. I was working in trunk but other versions also have the same issue. I can put together a patch for this fix if you want to try it. It works fine BUT you can't use ls on the mountpoint ("nfsd: non-standard errno: -29" on the server, I/O error on the client). You can navigate the filesystem, copy, rename, move files, stat files, but can't use "ls". If anyone has any idea on where the culprit is, I'd try to throw a patch together. After all it used to work fine a few releases back, and it's a pity because performance-wise (copying files around) it works great and looks very usable indeed (while it used to suck). I'll try to see with the latest trunk code friday if it makes any difference. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Emmanuel Florac | Direction technique | Intellique | <eflo...@intellique.com> | +33 1 78 94 84 02 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Pvfs2-developers mailing list Pvfs2-developers@beowulf-underground.org http://www.beowulf-underground.org/mailman/listinfo/pvfs2-developers _______________________________________________ Pvfs2-developers mailing list Pvfs2-developers@beowulf-underground.org http://www.beowulf-underground.org/mailman/listinfo/pvfs2-developers
