Do you want your jab_trnasport script on the scriptrepo site? 
(scriptrepo.jabberstudio.org)  Something I would -not- be opposed to is if
someone external to myself decided they wanted to bundle the transports
from time to time into a single tarball.  It's not something that I would
maintain directly, but I would be happy to keep whoever it was in the
loop.
