I am using pycuda 0.94.1, (just updated from the latest git source)
on python 2.6.5.
Using NVIDIA's devdriver 256.35, downloaded directly from NVIDIA's website.
I'm using GCC 4.1.3, because more recent versions create conflicts
with CUDA. However, versions 4.3.4 and 4.4.3 are also available on the
server, typing gcc-4.3 and gcc-4.4 respectively.

And I still have failures on test_gpuarray.py (see output enclosed),
but test_cumath.py works fine.

I hope this helps, let me know if you need some additional tools on the machine.
Cheers,

Julien
