I just added a tile map library that supports rectangular, isometric,
and hexagonal grids. It's not very developed, but it's a start, and a
good example if you want to figure out how to draw non-rectangular
grids. I will be working on it more later, but now I'm going to work
on developing the behavior system. I'm also going to try to come up
with a good way to handle game object states, like an enemy that
starts to move from A to B but gets interrupted on the way and starts
doing something else. After that, I'll go back to the tile map library
and try to write some behaviors that work with it.
