Help!!! I'm having problems installing the latest gnome-python and PyORBit on my mandrake 9.1 box. I have python2.3 installed from src, as well as the latest-greatest pygtk2 (from src). Both work fine (at least with my apps)...
When I try and install PyORBit, I get this:

And when I attempt to install gnome-python:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] gnome-python-2.0.0]# python setup.py install Could not find PyGTK Aborting
What am I missing? Thanks in advance!
Try using the configure scripts instead: ./configure --prefix=<prefix where python is installed> make make install
