I can vouch that both Mike Orr and JJ involvement are a healthy sign for any project associated with Python, although I wish they would do more public mentoring :) Just an FYI, in Atlanta, we will be participating remotely with the Pylons Sprint at the end of next week on May 31st. On the Atlanta side, we plan on pitching in on helping with tutorials and documentation. If you are new to Pylons, like I am, it might be a good opportunity to learn more by trying to create tutorials for things you don't understand yet. I find writing to be an extremely helpful way to learn a new subject.
