I think the link you're referring to is: http://uswaretech.com/blog/2009/08/a-response-to-dropping-django/ (from Hacker News). The link you cited is a job opening for an enterprise system in Java, which seems to have no relationship to the topic. I think many people here are focused on using Pylons and don't have time to hang out on these multi-framework, multi-language forums. Perhaps if I did I'd know who Seth Godin and Tim Ferriss are.
