On the marketing front, its worth distilling the clear advantages that
a developer or business might have in using pylons vs "some other
technology".

I think one clear advantage that pylons is easily deployed, far above
Django or other python based apps..  In fact its something that should
be added to, to the point that, installing a pylons app should be a
sinch.  - One of the reasons PHP apps have become so predominant is
that they are fairly easily deployed into cheap web hosting....but I
digress....
