Hi everybody. I have been having a problem with my new installation of pymol 0.99 on Fedora 5. The program starts normally and will render/ray trace images for creating png's, but the 'PyMol Viewer' window is not operational, it remains blank. I am pretty sure this is a problem with my computer configuration but I am not sure what it is diagnostic of. On startup it reads
This PyMOL Executable Build incorporates Open-Source PyMOL 0.99rc1. OpenGL graphics engine: GL_VENDOR: ATI Technologies Inc. GL_RENDERER: Generic GL_VERSION: 2.0.6065 (8.29.6) Detected 2 CPUs. Enabled multithreaded rendering. Graphics acceleration seems to be working for other applications however. I am relatively new to linux so any suggestions on what I should try correcting would be much appreciated. Thanks! Josh
