hi i'm zach the director for packaging

i've been working on pysoy since it started last summer and soya before it,
maintained pysoy for a few months, so yes i've been working on `pysoy
related stuff' recently ;-) i'm also able to mentor a summer of code
student.

yes the irc masks are cool. with svn i just want to point out one of the
reasons we have not been using it is it's not just for us nondevelopers will
inevitably download from svn and then complain when something breaks or
changes.

Hey everyone

In an effort to get us working as a community again I'm asking everyone on
this list to send a quick greet to the list. Include what you're
interested
in working on, what experience you've had with 3d/audio/etc development,
and
if you've been working recently on PySoy related stuff.

As a bonus, we're now established as a recognised group on Freenode and,
as
such, have vanity masks setup. Contact me if you'd like to strut around
IRC
with a shiny @pysoy/developer/<nickname> mask.

Side note: for anyone who hasn't heard, development is "frozen" until 4/13
while I get the codebase in a sane state (able to compile and with the
components working together) and pushed to svn.pysoy.org. Thereafter all
developers will be required to use subversion to keep things working
smoothly.
Contact me if you need help with that (or jump on IRC).
