Hi, I'm Buddha Buck. Last year, I was a mentor for Soya3D/PySoy during the Google Summer of Code (my student ended up on the PySoy side of the split), and tackled rewriting some of the matrix C code. The changes I made to the C code didn't get checked in before the codebase got reset.
As for the svn issue... I do thing that development should be out in the open. I think developers/users of Free Software know the difference between releases and stuff in version control. Saying we don't want users to get stuff from svn because they will complain when stuff breaks or changes is, to me, saying we want to exclude people from the process. I know I've felt excluded from the process since the end of last summer precisely because it appeared no activity was taking place on the mailing lists, the wiki, subversion, or where I looked on irc. That is no way to be open to the greater Free Software community, in my opinion. _______________________________________________ PySoy-Dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.pysoy.org/mailman/listinfo/pysoy-dev
