I apologize for sending you off-list emails. I'm still baffled why you find them so objectionable, but I won't do it any more. I often send emails to people when I want to communicate privately with them, I didn't mean any offense. Next time someone doesn't understand one of your jokes, perhaps you could simply explain the joke, rather than calling them an "arsehole". Or I guess you were already angry with me, and others would have been treated better.
