Hello,
I am using pytrainer happily for over a year. Thank you for this great piece
of software.
I would like to make some suggestions that may hopefully contribute to
improve usability of pytrainer:
1. Is there a way to automatically associate an equipment item to a given
sport? For example, I have a "standard" pair of running shoes that I
normally use. It would be nice if it could be associated automatically to
every running activity. Now I have to edit every single run and assign it.
This is a rather lengthy and boring task. Maybe one could define somewhere a
set of equipment items that are automatically associated to every activity
of a given type? I see that this has the disadvantage of possibly
associating the wrong equipment to an activity if one is not careful and
does not change it afterwards (for example when exceptionally using other
shoes). Maybe there are alternative ways to simplify the usage of equipment.
I like the idea of this feature, but I think one should try to make it more
user-friendly.
2. If one opts not to realize 1), it would be nice if there would be a
keyboard shortcut to open the edit "Edit record" window of a run.
3. I noticed that Ctrl.+C is used to activate the classical view. This
keyboard shortcut is in some operating systems used to other purposes, for
example for "copy". One should therefore consider if one wants to deviate
from this use.
Kind regards,
skew41.
