With a prepared package distribution, SAGA will be simple to install, like GDAL. You don't need to set any environment variables to run saga_cmd. Note that some of the saga_cmd commands may have changed. For example, SAGA Wetness Index now has several new params and the old "t" param is gone. What would you like run and sent to you?
