sounds good, +1 for moving READMEs to qgis/QGIS and removal/deprecation of homebrew-qgisdev.
I do not have that much experience yet with development on the platform to write full docs, but I can help with review/test of the new docs once ported. In the meantime, could someone with merge rights in homebrew-qgisdev just add big note at the beginning that this is not maintained anymore and osgeo4mac should be used instead? thanks P.
