I am not a fan of a bugtracker pushing people to sponsored development by spamming each issue with it. It's perfectly reasonable to assign a label that means basically "this issue appears legitimate but no one has expressed interest in working on it", and make the pointer to either 1) maybe you should write the code yourself (that has to be there!) or 2) you migth wish to sponsor someone once in the top-level README that explains the labels.
