I think the bigger issue evidenced by this users question is that s/he doesn't know where these things are or that they exist. In my experience the for most non-Open Source software that doesn't come with an expensive support contract, the way you get support is via a forum; that would certainly explain why its the first port of call for new users. A relatively quick "win" would be the QGIS website making it clear what the avenues are and how to get to them in a nice obvious clean page. Jonathan
