Yes, I was referring tot he "real" ALT key.. On British keyboards at least CTRL and ALT are both on the left of the space bar. The one on the right of the space bar is ALT GR which can be configured in QPC2 to work like either CTRL or ALT.

It's rather strange because both PCs have the same QPC2 v3.30 and both run Windows XP (though I don't know if they are equal in terms of Windows updates and release versions of Windows and so on).

Really, really strange why two otherwise similar PCs cause a different QPC2 problem :-(

All the off-list replies I've had all say no problem found. Trust me...the only one who can run QPC2 on two similar PCs and get different results...I hate to think what Roy Wood is going to say...

Still hoping for a simple suggestion from someone why this might be happening!!!

Incidentally, François, regarding your CD order via Rich Mellor, I'm in the process of updating the PD library with a number of software updates, so by holding on a couple of days you'll get all the latest updates on it, if that's OK?

The PD library CD is now close to 200 disks of general software, not including clipart, info files, cover disks, demos and others which don't fit in the General category, I'm determined to pass 200 disks by this weekend ;-)

Strange part is that hardly anyone asks for PD software on floppy disk these days (which I'm quite glad about because it takes ages to copy floppies!) - most people prefer website download of individual programs or the whole lot on CD. Probably because of the obvious reasons.

No problems here.(I suppose you are referring to ALT at the left of the SPACE key)
