There should be a lot of low level detail of the format of all of the Psion suite in the TexTIDY Reference manual. This is a Quill document that should have the name "Textidy_ref". Most of the information was obtained by reverse engineering the file formats for both the QL and PC variants of the programs. If you want I could email you a copy?
