What does your phrase "quadruple play provider" mean ?
Probably something already similar?
Yes.
Many thanks to everyone who shared their Telco costs/experiences/opinions.
It sounds complicated so at least I can be happy that I have a good quality
offering of (almost) all my Phone/ISP/TV/Radio needs (incl. landline,
router, WLAN, Settop-Box incl. HD-Recorder, HDMI-cable to my LCD-TV) from
one single supplier at an affordable flat rate price.
Let's better change topic back to the QL which is 1) not that complicated
and 2) lasts longer. ;-)

Oh - and there was me thinking a quadrule play provider meant:
A Sinclair QL, QPC2, Q-emuLator and QLAY all running at the same time
and sharing data...
Mind you - does that mean we are better here in the QL fraternity than
the telecoms providers can come up with - as we could also offer the
Q40, Q60 and QXL all sharing the same data
- Maybe we can get back onto a new discussion topic, as to how you would
do this...
- QPC2, QXL and QLAY can all access the same QXL.WIN file - but I don't
think they can at the same time...
- QXL and the QL can use the ZX Network (alongside the Spectrum too...)
- QPC2, QLAY, QXL, Q40, Q60, Thor XVI, QL and Q-emuLator could all
potentially talk via a serial cable - but how would you set this up as a
network (sernet maybe?)
- The QL can use the HxC floppy disk emulator to connect to disk image
files on a compact flash, which can also be accessed from within
Q-emuLator - any others?
