I'm sure you are right. I'd like to be certain of it but it's been 10 years or 
more since I played with the emulator or associated tools

I found a stash of my old QLs and a partial listing of the MGUK  code not too 
long back. 
BTW Sinclair Black shows the dust ;)

Except, I think it can. CTOOLS or similar? I'm sure that can read a QL floppy 
image, mounted on a loopback, on Linux.
