Well, that's the way the license defines it and we all have to agree to that.
Marcel, for example, can't do a quick fix at shows and "release" it either - so we're all having to stick to these rules. However, there's a beta-test possibility, isn't there? And think about it - it DOES MAKE SENSE! This quick fix may have other implications and cause trouble - see Roy's emails ... and I have seen so many versions of SMSQ/E for the ATARI which were never released because I found lots of side-effects. It may take a short while longer before something is getting public, but it hopefully helps getting stable versions out. And I'm sure it will only be a short delay, because, as we all see, Wolfgang is very fast and present. Jochen
