Hi Andrew, good to hear! So you preferred the c code application over the java application. I can't blame you ;) Btw, mkgmap works similar if I recall correctly. It is able to create a tdb from existing img. Anyway, you could do me a great favor and add a few lines of howto in the wiki: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/qlandkartegt/index.php?title=Main_Page&Itemid=20 "Help for handling maps" is the right place and I would reference from the FAQ to the entry.
