I've noticed that the wpt (waypoint) elements in the GPX files created by QLandkarteGT and by my GPS just have lat and lon attributes with decimal degree values; there doesn't appear to be any specification of the datum/projection. (I usually have the GPS set to display OSGB grid references, because I'm usually using OS maps.) Am I right in thinking that all the applications store the coördinates in one standard system, and convert them on the fly to whatever system the GPS or the mapping software is set to display? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LogMeIn Central: Instant, anywhere, Remote PC access and management.
