Can anyone offer any advice on the use of the --monitor option? I'm trying
to get qlandkartegt to automatically refresh when the input .gpx is
updated. This is what I'm trying:

[ben@localhost ~]$ qlandkartegt --monitor 3 $HOME/gpstrail.gpx&
