of course it is correct !!!!
qmail only re-route mail following the mailhost LDAP attribute if clustering
is active.
and it ONLY use QMQP to re-route those mail .
as I have mear 15000 users and I use ONLY LDAP to configure their accounts.

MY PB IS

I have got 2 servers which are hosting locally the same domain.
when a user hosted on a server want to forward his mail to an other user
which mails are hosted on the other server as it is for the same domain
QMAIL try to repost the mail locally. I want to force qmail to always repost
mail to a specific IP.

BE CAREFULL FORWARDING IS A SPECIAL CASE !!

thanx

This is incorrect. qmail does SMTP. I use only SMTP and no QMQP in my qmail
installation.

In your rcpthosts, put all the domains for which you accept mail. In locals
put only the domains which should be received locally, or leave it empty if
no one should receive mail locally. In smtproutes, put an entry to forward
all mail for your domains to your relay.

For example, my setup on server webdev.nettonettech.com, which should
deliver no mail locally and only forward to mail.nettonettech.com:

$ cat /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts
nettonettech.com
mail.nettonettech.com
www.nettonettech.com
webdev.nettonettech.com

$ cat /var/qmail/control/locals
(empty)

$ cat /var/qmail/control/smtproutes
webdev.nettonettech.com:mail.nettonettech.com
