Hello everyone, I am new to the list, and I have been playing with qmail-ldap for a couple of weeks now. Mostly the setup was smooth sailing, and everything works. However, I now tried to implement IMAP and POP3 services with courier-imap (under FreeBSD 4.4). The basic problem is that both IMAP and POP3 hang up upon receiving the password, no matter if correct or incorrect... Therefore I think that the problem lies with auth_imap. When I use qmail-ldaplookup to find users in the LDAP directory, it finds them without any problems. So, I don't know why auth_imap does not. Is there any way to test auth_imap and auth_pop explicitely (I did not find any documentation for either one...)? I need to find out why any authentication fails. My setup basically follows exactly the how-tos from nrg4u.com or lifewithqmail.org, and I tried both tcpserver and couriertcp configurations for imapd and pop3d....
