I really wouldn't wonder if they were still using it and simply put a
bunch of W2K boxes in front of them acting as proxies to hide the
fact. Impossible to say what's really going on there without having
access to the backend (which, OTOH, shouldn't be too hard to gather
if
the frontend is W2K...).
