I gather you obtained the scripts under a different user id.
No, I started with: su -
Then did wget and sh all as root


# ls -l /opt/qmt-sandbox/usr/src/qmt/qmt-build-rpms.sh
to verify that it's not owned by root, then # chown root:root
/opt/qmt-sandbox/usr/src/qmt/qmt-build-rpms.sh to change its ownership. You
should probably change the ownership of the scripts too, in /usr/src/qmt/,
so you won't have this problem again if you were to need to rebuild the
sandbox.

Both files are already 'root root' with 644 permissions
