I don't want being woke up at 3 o'clock because out alert system a trivial problem stopped the corporative mail system. I thinks is good idea to retrieve source rpms, build the binary rpm's nightly, and wait for the sysadmin to tell to install in an apropriate moment (if everything runs ok, it will take less than 2 minutes, anyway). Actually with the new qtp-newmodel upgrade is about as safe as any upgrade can be. It creates a sandbox and compiles everything in it so that your mail servers stay up until everything is compile, then it just copies over the files and restarts the services.
