Check to make sure there isn't a LARGE attachment waiting for the
Outlook client, or that they do not have a large attachment in their
outbox trying to be sent. I've seen these cause this behavior.
Next, look at your /var/log/qmail/pop3 logs and watch them while you're
making a connection and see if anything pops up in the logs.
Also check to see if you're trying to use SSL or TLS in Outlook. You may
need to change that.
