It should work a bit like Wikipedia where all people can do everything but the other people try to keep an eye on the activity of each other. If some project (mainly after a while) thinks that this is not enough anymore it is free to move to an own repository. The commit project in this case can help to get started with the project as there are also many other people which can help and contribute. To have an own user and rights management for each project also dramatically increases the energy needed to administrate the whole thing. We will see how good our approach will work, but I think for almost all projects based on the qooxdoo framework this will be the best place to work at. > > Approval of new projects will be done by us. The contrib projects should follow the open source rules: release early and often. The projects can manage their versioning separated from the qooxdoo repository which is a great step to liberalize these projects.
