If all you want is a "pop up window" with no title bar or frame, then I
wouldn't look any farther then an Atom. You can place them anywhere, assign
decorators to them, and I do believe that you can change the opacity very
easily. You say that the new version is easy, well I think you are over
thinking this scenario. You need to think 'easy' for this one. :-)
