Thanks for the suggestions. I might try and make a composite with an atom then. I forgot to mention there will be form items on there too.

If all you want is a "pop up window" with no title bar or frame, then I wouldn't look any farther then an Atom. You can place them anywhere, assign decorators to them, and I do believe that you can change the opacity very easily. You say that the new version is easy, well I think you are over thinking this scenario. You need to think 'easy' for this one. :-)

Hi again,

So my application has moved on a bit since my question yesterday and I
have got to the point where I need to get some windows popping up with
further data about the contents of a table cell. All that is actually
working well and was stunningly simple. Nice job on the API! Anyway,
what would like to achieve is have my popup window be borderless (ie.
not frame and no title bar) and be able to have say, 75 percent
opacity (0.75). I tried several methods of doing this such as adding
decorators to the window, trying to use a popup instead of a window
(that was the wrong path) and setting various elements such as
background colour etc. it seems that the theme overrides everything I
was trying to do as I still ended up with the "modern" theme look of
the window. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to add to the theme for a
different look or can I manually override it somehow. I would also
like rounded corners on my window but thats another topic. :)

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Glyn
