Just wanted to give you a comment. Look at this:

It is a forum software combining both a mailing list with a forum. Then you
play it the way the core team and some others want it and they can join later
on. At the same time you let people, very often beginners, look at the forum.
All in one package. Then you have eliminated the critics you got on yes or no
for a forum of qooxdoo.
Drupal is doing it by Listhandler: http://drupal.org/node/40777
or at least a forum software with mailing list integration like:
http://phorum.org/
There might be many other alternatives. Let us find them! Any suggestions?
