I think the discussion goes in one direction which is not positive for
beginners of qooxdo and others who understands how to use a forum to find
answers.

To suggest that forum.qooxdoo.org is a good forum is as good as saying a
Volkswagen has as much technology as a Mercedes or even worse comparing apples
with cucumbers and say that one is better than the other one. forum.qooxdoo.org
looks like a mailing list and works more or less like a mailing list. It is
slow and not practical.

To get everyone in Stuttgart to wear red socks one day is as difficult as
asking everyone to do as you do. Let people choose.

A mailing list is just a mailing list. A forum is not a mailing list, it is a
forum. If someone wants to work with a forum let them do it and the same for
mailing lists. There are big differences between them. A more relevant
comparison is developers use of editors.... developers are very conservative
and don't want to change even though there are better alternatives...

Kristou, I definitively support your thoughts about a forum which works like a
forum. But as we can see here it seems to be important to have some linkage
with the mailing list....maybe the most conservative on this forum might find a
new use of the new qooxdoo forum.
