If you are using sendmail without a copy of the "bat" book (author Costales, publisher O'Reilly, 3rd edition, picture of bat on cover) your first step should be to spend your $59.95 and get one. Then assuming you have sendmail v8.10 or later, there are very complete instructions starting with section 10.9 on page 406.
