Yeah, I do! It was 1958 and I was in the 9th and 10th grade.
KN3DCB, the Novice, and later that year K3DCB, the General.
A year later I got my novice...kn3hrn....and within a year, you, Harry and Gary
used to tear respectable holes in the either in 75.....all of us still had two
nostrils as I recall.
Hank sent this to me a few years ago.....my daughters disolve into laughs when
they see it

Will all the pactor and digital stuff take over the CW bands? I really don't
think so. And if they step on me,
I have, sitting to the right of the K2, a box that will most likely make me a
helluva lot louder than they are as I
politely ask them to refrain from operating on the same frequency that I am
on!
I still remember "tuning" things up with the old model15 and an endless loop
of ryryryry and The Quick Red Fox Jumped Over The Lazy Brown Dog.
At one point I was insane enough to have a 15, a 19, a 28ASR, 32 ASR and
a couple of Kleinschmidts all lined up in the basement...all in running shape.
I can evern remember leaning to whistle mark and space....and driving people
nuts on sideband.
Maybe I should build a little 8 foot sailboat and go pactor in the harbor....or,
get a donation and I can run it on the Torsk
