Fortunately, it turns out to be untrue (at least for now). I just checked and there's a long list of messages from 1 Nov and one from 2 Nov. Some sort of glitch somewhere, probably at kkn.net itself or in the K5TR archive system. I seem to recall seeing a similar glitch a few weeks back. I went through a minor panic, but a day or two later everything was caught up. When I asked about making the archives on qth.net private, I was told that it was a long overdue security measure. Not quite sure what that means, since I don't know all of the techniques and methods that spammers, etc use, but presumably it has something to do with that. But it does continue to appear at kkn.net. It would be a real shame if that was cut off as well, since qrp-l does still have some good content that is of use to someone searching the 'net. Say what you will about the list, it is still a valid QRP information resource. Although perhaps more fat and bone and less meat than in years past :-) BTW, to the best of my knowledge, the K5TR archives at kkn.net remain the only complete online collection of qrp-l archives. As I've said before, some online collections contain everything from Day One until they left lehigh.edu (which was the third host) and nothing after that, and archives at qth.net only started at the point where the list moved there. It includes nothing before that, and due to some crashes it doesn't even have all of the qth.net info. The early ones were lost some time last year. It now contains a listing for 9 May 04, which contains but a single post, then jumps to 28 May 04 and has everything from there on.
