At Pacific I have organised the program have a 'Games' focus. We have an excursion to Qantm and QUT to look at courses in the area and also a trip to a Brisbane game design company where the students see what the industry looks like first hand. (Collaboration, variety of jobs, deadlines and time management, need for planning etc) I have had several students follow a path into game design over that last few years and are loving the challenge. Keeping it real is a big drawcard for students.
