Lyn, Not sure if you have anyone who has contact with any of the EQ decision makers such as Dave O'Hagan and others. From an EQ perspective a lot of our purchasing from Dell and such is quite limited now days and people in Central office tend to make all the big decisions.
Not sure if a letter from QSITE is sent to them they may present on EQs smart classrooms strategy or something similar or it may be a technical presentation and hence the technical staff may attend. As you would know each year we hold a State Conference and in recent years we have not been attracting attendees from Technical or network managers which is of concern to some of our sponsors, particularly Dell. I know one issue is that sponsors who do presentations never get the information to us early enough to advertise and I have told them that it is required earlier. I have also been told that the "Ferny Grove" day was great. I'm not sure what is meant by that comment other than it was for 1 day only and on a Student free day which is appreciated by teachers. We are currently calling for presenters and I wonder if you could offer any suggestions on what I should do to appeal to this audience. What sort of exhibitors? What type of presentations? Suggested presenters. Would appreciate your assistance as it is getting very hard to gain sponsorship as the years progress and many of the sponsors want exposure to those making decisions or working on the technical side of things in schools.
