Keith,
    While I do not understand the first half of your comment (I don't consider myself to be a Christian in the traditional sense) - because if you don't, you aren't -  as to the rest of your comment (I find it difficult to understand how a real Christian could be a Republican)  there are widely divergent opinions on the numerous issues and considerations which are involved in selecting one's political affiliation, and one's religious beliefs should influence each decision.  But, even among the various religious groups there are varying opinions on each issue (except for those nations where such thinking is not allowed).  Frankly, I don't see that my Christian belief is inconsistent with either party's platform.
