What bothers me are the large number of people who really do believe 
that Terrorists will listen to reason, can accept that they might be 
wrong about what Allah wants, or that they even desire peace.
They don't understand that we may need to be willing to keep fighting 
this Terrorist "ideology" for years, maybe decades. (We have been under 
attack by them since the hostages were taken in Iran)
I know that a lot of mistakes were made during the Cold War, but the 
alternatives were unacceptable.
How many people died because of the world's failure to enforce 
the "Treaty of Versailles"? Saddam couldn't be allowed to ignore the 
1991 treaty and UN resolution 1441 was his LAST chance to comply.
9/11 changed things forever.
No more pussy footing around with those who have us in their sights.
