If mucus is UNUSUAL FOR YOU... might not be a bad idea to have your doctor order a urinalysis first and then a culture displayed the results of the urinalysis. After that is done... a urologist or just a doctor would be able to tell you it's something different is going on besides the usual bugs that will always remain present for anyone who indwelling catheter.
