Congratulations David What level are you? I am also lucky and have few medical issues and so far none that are SCI related exclusively. I had arthritis before I broke my neck at age 51, but it really hasn’t spread much more. My left shoulder is bone on bone and it sometimes flares up, but I have been able to control it with over the counter pills. Not surprisingly at almost 76 I have osteoporosis, but with Fosamax we have held it at a relatively low level. I am lucky enough to have an outstanding general practitioner and works with me to keep prescription medications at a very low level.
Staying busy and interested in the outside activities available helps to keep my optimism up. Keep on trucking, good for you. Blessed with great friends and family. Hope to keep on keeping on. Johnny
