Have you tried a panty liner during the day? I use Always panty liners to absorb leakage.

This new urologist of mine is so booked up that I cannot get received your down until June 13 - 4 MONTHS later unless they get a cancellation! Because of the constant urine leaking around my catheter... it has caused skin breakdown. Last summer I was in bed for 2 1/2 months from skin breakdown and now I have started again but in the worst possible place... in between my left labia at my left thigh and in between my right labia and my right thigh... which is where the urine likes to drool. The skin breakdown that began in between my right labia and my right thigh started Friday morning and the one on the left started this morning! We are doing our best with folding 4x4 gauze pads in there during the day when I am up in the chair and it is best to leave them open when in bed overnight and sleeping on my side. Otherwise the gauze pads just add problems. Thoughts are with you! On Wed, Feb 8, 2017 at 4:47 PM, Nichole Rohling <zoocr...@windstream.net> wrote: Thanks Lori, Prayers for you and your procedure. I remember now then it was one cup of sterile water to 2 tablespoons of white vinegar that we would make up before hand and then pour them into individual little cups that the home health agency provided to bring the sterile water or saline. When I just went through is a total nightmare. I have now lost my urethra thanks to what that nurse did to me at the end of January 2016. I had urodynamics done yesterday and I am going to have to have a bladder neck closure and a suprapubic catheter. I was fine and dandy when I first moved here but it only takes one insect to damage so much grain (as Elton John stated in his song/tribute to John Lennon called "Empty Garden" or also known as "Hey Hey Johnny"). Do you happen to know ratio of vinegar to sterile water? I can google it too. Sterile Conditions, sterile water, a teaspoon of white vinegar. Deep Breaths help relax the control muscle and 2% zilocaine is recommended when pain is involved.
