I would consider contacting Medicare/Medicaid and tell them to stop making
payments to your provider and then contact Invacare-Customer Care, with the
 serial number of your chair.

How about this. I got my new Invacare storm last November. About a month
ago it started messing up. When you turn the power off it won't come back on.
You have to disconnect the batteries. I think I described this earlier.
Well the repair guy came by a couple of weeks ago and determined that the
problem was in the joystick/control. I called them yesterday and they said
they will not recognize the warranty because the unit had apparently been wet.
This thing has never felt even a sprinkle! I have a strong desire to
strike somebody with great force. What a bunch of crooks and liars! Any
suggestions? Invacare wants my insurance to pay for it. Well of course they
do.
Bunch of greedy $);&:@!!!!! Any words of wisdom out there?

Subject: [QUAD-L] New Chair

Been trying 6 months to get a new chair. First few months was mis
communication. I was waiting for them to send me info, the rep thought he had
and
was waiting for me. Then arguing over what type of chair they could order.
Now I get prescription to fix my old chair. They called and said they no
longer work with my insurance group. I asked about the new chair we were
working on. They said, Sorry, we didn't realize it was a different group name.
So its starting all over.

The name of the chair place I get from my insurance.1 star rated, very bad
BBB rating, 4 brands of chairs I've never heard of. I'm appealing to see
if I can buy out of network. Can take another 15 days. What hassles.
