I very much recommend a colostomy. Changed my life. I use to bleed now
and then too. My doc said it happens a lot. To try using extra gel / lube.
But my program made me sweat so bad, and took 2 hours. The only thing I
hated was drinking the stuff that cleans you out pre surgery. Because
you get such bad diarrhea after drinking that stuff, I stayed in the
hospital the night before the surgery. I didn’t want to still have
diarrhea on the way to the hospital, etc. Made things so much easier.
Now I don't live my life around poop, worried about issues, accidents,
leaks, etc.

I had hemorrhoids removed..
But I have spots of blood on bed pad some time and after a bowel
movement. No blood during bowel movement.
I was to have colonoscopy in 2 weeks.
Any advice how to prep & AD concerns?

I am a Quadriplegic and when I go number two, it involves digital
stimulation. Some how my caregiver accidentally irritated the lining
causing it to bleed when I go. It has been going on for a week. We
don't know what to do about it. It has never happened before. I have
always done my bowel route with digital stimulation and removal.
does anyone have ideas how to deal with the irritation and bleeding?
