I had mine placed so long ago it is hard to remember. I don't remember having any pain, but I couldn't say for sure because it was so long ago. Is his leg/bed bag filling with urine? If not, urine could back up into his kidneys.. That would need to be addressed immediately. Is the pain at the stoma or somewhere else? Monitor it and if the pain doesn't go away, you should call the doctor.
