I was recently ripped off by a ebay seller and am currently in arguments with him

I bought what was said to be a logic board from a WGS 60

When it arrived it is a logic board from a Quadra 610

It boots into MacOS and identifies itself as a Quadra 610. Also, it has the weaker LC68040 CPU

He is arguing these are the same thing but they are not. I need verification from other user's that their WGS60 identifies not as a Quadra 610, and must have the full 68040 CPU.

Thank you
RB

They are more or less the same, the 610 generally has a full 040, the early models having the LC68040, both at 25mhz.

The WGS 60 also carried the LC68040 in earlier models. CPU speed at either 20 or 25mhz. Later models carried the full 040, meaning intergrated FPU.

Apart from the markings they are the same board with a choice of cpu's.

I dont know what the WGS will class itself as.
